Venture Live · Events & venues

Put your event in play.

A hosted scavenger hunt across your venue, district, or campus. Guests join from their own phones with a six-letter code, race through tasks written for the occasion, and settle it on one live leaderboard. 25 to 100+ players, individual scoring, no teams to wrangle.

Or write to hello@venturerace.app. We reply to every event inquiry.

How an event runs

You brief it. It runs itself.

No printed clue sheets, no facilitator with a clipboard. The whole event lives on your guests' phones.

01

Brief the hunt

City, venue, occasion, headcount. Tasks are written for exactly that brief: your district's landmarks, your event's in-jokes, your sponsor's ask.

02

Open the doors

Guests download Venture and enter your event code, or scan it from a QR at the door. No roster to upload.

03

Watch it run

Photo and video proof lands in a live feed. You approve or wave off submissions from a host review queue, and the leaderboard updates on every phone at once.

04

Wrap it up

The clock runs out, a winner is crowned, and the prize you set is on the screen. Results stay in the app after everyone heads home.

Use cases

Built for a crowd with somewhere to be.

Sporting events

Fill the hours before kickoff.

A stadium-district hunt gives fans something to do besides stand in line. Tasks send them to the landmarks, murals, and bars around the grounds, and the board settles right before gates open.

Example: a tailgate hunt for a hundred fans, with checkpoints across the stadium district and a jersey for the winner at the gate.
Campus tours & orientation

Nobody remembers the walking tour.

Groups learn a campus by racing across it. Tasks take them to the library, the statue everyone rubs for luck, the best late-night food, and the shortcut upperclassmen won't share.

Example: orientation week for eighty freshmen, drinking tasks off, prize claimed at the student union.
Corporate events

An offsite that runs itself.

Individual scoring means nobody hides in a group. Your team competes on their own phones across the neighborhood you pick, and the leaderboard plays on the bar TV while results come in.

Example: a sixty-person field day across downtown, sponsor task included, winner announced at happy hour.
Venue partnerships

Your venue becomes a checkpoint.

Featured tasks bring every player through your door with a reason to stay. You set the welcome message they see when they arrive and the prize waiting at the end.

Example: a bar-district crawl where your taproom anchors three tasks and pours the winner's round.
You're in control

Your event, your rules.

Every Venture Live hunt is hosted. You decide what's in play before anyone joins.

Welcome message

The first thing guests see when they join, written by you: house rules, the plan, the stakes.

Drinking tasks: your call

On or off per event. Either way, they're only ever shown to guests who are age-verified in the app.

The prize

Name what the winner gets and it sits on the leaderboard all night, doing its job.

Sponsor tasks

Fold a sponsor into the hunt as tasks players actually want to do, not a logo on a lanyard.

Review queue

Every submission passes through you. Approve the good ones, wave off the try-agains, keep it clean.

The clock

You start the hunt when the room is ready and the countdown runs on every phone from that second.

Where it stands

Built, and running in beta.

No vaporware. Venture Live is a working mode of a live product, and here's exactly what that means today.

Live beta on iPhone via TestFlight, with real testers in real cities right now.
Five cities seeded with tasks and skylines: Dallas, Austin, Nashville, New York, Chicago. Events can run anywhere you brief.
Real-time scoring confirmed on device: one submission, every phone's board moves.
Age verification enforced server-side: drinking tasks never reach unverified guests, whatever the event settings.
QR and deep-link invites: a code at the door is all the onboarding an event needs.
Moderation built in: host review queue plus report and block on every submission.
Pricing & booking

Priced to the event, not a menu.

Every event is a different shape, so pricing is scoped to your headcount and format. Tell us what you're planning and we'll walk you through the whole thing in one call.

Worth including in your note
  • The occasion, and roughly when it happens
  • Expected headcount (25 to 100+, we'll scope either way)
  • City, venue, or district you have in mind
  • Whether a sponsor or prize is part of the picture
